What is stealth PPF?
Stealth PPF is paint protection film with a satin-matte finish. It turns a glossy car matte while protecting the paint underneath, so you get the look and the protection from one product.
Is stealth PPF the same as a matte wrap?
No. A matte vinyl wrap changes the look but offers no impact protection. Stealth PPF does both, which is why it costs more than vinyl.
How do I care for a matte finish?
Hand wash it and skip wax and polish, which will alter the flat appearance. Avoid automatic brush washes. Deal with bird droppings and fuel spills quickly rather than letting them sit.
Can stealth PPF go over any colour?
It works over any factory colour, and the result varies with the paint underneath. Darker colours tend to give the deepest satin effect. We can show you examples before you commit.
Does it self-heal like clear PPF?
Quality satin films carry the same self-healing topcoat, so light swirls resolve with warmth. Deeper marks that cut through the topcoat do not.
What warranty do you offer?
Our PPF work carries a 10 year warranty on installation and material. We do a 1 month inspection after installation and a yearly inspection after that.
Where are you located and what areas do you serve?
Our studio is at 13 E Moonachie Rd in Hackensack, New Jersey, and we work on cars from across New Jersey, New York City and Connecticut. Installation happens indoors in a climate-controlled bay, which matters because temperature and dust both affect how film lays down.
How do I get a price for my car?
