General questions
Where are you located and which areas do you serve?
Our studio is at 13 E Moonachie Rd, Hackensack, New Jersey 07601. We work on cars from across New Jersey, New York City and Connecticut. You can reach us on (201) 379-0902.
How do I get a price?
Every car is quoted after we see it. Paint condition, exact coverage and trim complexity all move the number, so an in-person look is the only way to give you something you can rely on. Send us a message or call and we will sort it out.
Which service is right for my car?
It comes down to whether you want a new look, protection, or both. A vinyl wrap changes the colour and comes off later but will not stop a rock chip. Paint protection film is clear and stops chips without changing the look. Colour PPF does both. Ceramic coating adds gloss and makes washing easier but is not impact protection.
How long will my car be with you?
A full vinyl wrap takes 5 to 7 business days. A paint protection film job takes 7 to 10 business days. Smaller packages such as a front end or a partial wrap come in under that. Any paint correction needed beforehand adds time on top, and we give you a firm window when we quote the car rather than a guess.
What warranty do you offer?
Vinyl wraps carry a 3 year warranty against bubbling and peeling. PPF carries a 10 year warranty on installation and material. We also do a 1 month inspection after installation and a yearly inspection after that.
What happens at the inspections?
We check edges, lifting, and how the film or coating is holding up, and deal with anything small before it becomes a problem. The first one is a month after you pick the car up, then once a year. It is part of the service, not an upsell.
Will any of this void my factory warranty?
No. A professional wrap, film or coating is not a permanent modification. It sits on top of the paint and comes off later, so your vehicle warranty is unaffected. Damage caused by a poor installation is a separate matter, which is why installer choice matters.
Can you remove an old wrap or film?
Yes, and on factory paint in good condition it comes off without damaging what is underneath. That is the point of a wrap: the film takes the wear instead of the paint. Two things change that. Film left well past its rated life gets brittle and fights the removal, and panels that were repainted or already chipping can lift with the film, because the weak layer is the paint rather than the wrap. Tell us up front if a car has existing film or previous bodywork so removal is priced in from the start.
How do I wash a wrapped or coated car?
Hand wash it and skip automatic brush washes, which are the fastest way to damage film. Use a pH-neutral shampoo and dry with clean microfibre. Matte and satin finishes need extra care because wax and polish alter the flat look. Through the winter, rinse road salt off regularly.
Can I see the colour before I commit?
Yes. Our colour visualiser renders a finish on your model so you are not choosing from a small swatch, and there are over 200 colours to look through. You are also welcome to come by the studio and see finishes in person.
Do you work on commercial vehicles and fleets?
Yes. Truck and van wraps, including printed branding, are a normal part of what we do. Tell us how many vehicles are involved and whether they can be released at once or need staggering, and we will plan around your schedule.
What film brands do you use?
For vinyl we install KPMF, 3M, Avery Dennison and Inozetek. For paint protection film we use a premium self-healing film. Which one we recommend depends on the colour, the finish and how the car is used, and a quote always names the exact film and product line rather than leaving it vague.
Do you work on new cars before delivery?
New and low-mileage cars are the ideal time for protection film, because film applied before chips accumulate always costs less than paint correction plus film applied to a damaged surface. If your car is arriving soon, get in touch and we will plan around the delivery date.
Is the work done indoors?
Yes. Installation happens in an indoor, climate-controlled bay. Temperature and airborne dust both affect how film lays down, so this is a quality factor rather than a convenience.
